“Good morning, Maria.” We are running downstairs yelling .
“Good morning，girls .”Maria lays down the vacuum cleaner so that she can give us a hug .
Maria is the house cleaner. Her job is to tidy up the whole house including the parlor ,kitchen ,washrooms and basement every two days.
Besides we four Chinese girls ，others who live in this house are the first year students, most of whom are departing from their parents the first time. Usually, with pazza boxes ,juice bottles, draft paper, the house is in a mess. “Oh，my goodness. ” Maria would always begin to tidy that up quickly after some maundering――dumping rubbish ，cleaning the four washroom，tidying up the kitchen ，washing the bowls and plates and chopsticks that we put off randomly in the dish-pool. Suppose who come back from class or just gets up to go to class ，she absolutely would wipe cleanly the hand ，give he/she a hug ；we get used to that ，as if exchanging greeting with Mum daily.
“Ladies，at the present it’s the winter time. Please don’t wear like in the summer ok? ”Sometime, we would be sent back to put on more.
“Good day, Maria ”
“Be careful ，my girls”
Rushing out of the house , with one sleeve haven’t been put on , I find ourselves like the piquant boys in the old films，and Maria is left behind shouting.

Mostly ，she is as one of us students and joking with us always.
“God damned consulter. ”Nike was complaining the consulter who took change with his course-planning since he came back from the consulters’ office. “Are they stupid or something , how can they force me to learn the courses I have done in high school again?”
“You can tell. ” Maria turned off the vacuum cleaner and got involved in this angry abreaction. “Same thing happened to my nephew last year and no one accept my explanation so that he had to take the same course for the second time ,Jesus Christ, they would never and ever hear what you are talking about.”
