When did I fall in love with this show? I can't pinpoint it but I think it's when Carrie ran into Mr. Big and her purse fell to the ground and we saw condoms rolling out of it. Yeah I know it’s the first episode of the first season, but don’t you still believe in love at first sight?
Another thing most of us can relate to is her obsession with designer clothes and shoes. Valentino, Gucci , Prada, D&G, Chanel, these fascinating names are never closer. We get to enjoy all the eye candies without spending a fortune. Although we do not wear them everyday, maybe once in a while, we still love them to death. Because they are not just some expensive fabric cut and sewn into shape, they reflect a lifestyle and our desire for a better and glamourous life, sometimes fairy tale like.
And then shoes.
I didn’t realize how completely insane American women can be about shoes until I came to this country. It’s totally out of control. The same case with nail polish. Everywhere I go, I see nails of all colors.
